KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Earlier this month the Breast Cancer Research Foundation announced a $57-million commitment to breast cancer research worldwide.
The Kansas City Council is doing their part by hosting a fundraising event Thursday, Oct. 13. Former council member and cancer survivor Cathy Jolly and chief mission officer for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation Dr. Marc Hurlburt visited FOX 4 prior to the event to share more on where the money came from and where it will go.
