Dear Diary,
It’s late, but I need to share a beautiful moment from my day. I was invited to participate in an outreach program for metastatic breast cancer called #HearMyVoice hosted by Living Beyond Breast Cancer in Philadelphia. At the welcome dinner, I gazed around the room, and my spirit soared. Here sat a group of passionate women and men living with metastatic breast cancer and they were happy! That statement may sound odd but living with this disease takes a toll on mind, body, and spirit. For one lovely, shining moment I stopped to experience the good emanating throughout the room. Diary, it’s going to be a fabulous weekend, I can feel it in my bones.
P.S. Check out the fabulous view from my window!
