PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – If you drove over the Hathaway Bridge Saturday night you may have seen a blur of glowing light or some folks decked out in their skivvies.

Several dozen people ran across the bridge as part of the Bras Across the Bay 5K run.

The group started near the Taco Bell on the west side of the bridge and made their way across and back. The fourth annual glow run with a catchy name and eye catching garments helps raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

"We thought it would be fun," said runner Brandon Burkett. "I kept hearing a lot of commercials and it’s for a good cause. And this is our night out and you know we have family members that survived breast cancer so we thought it would be a good thing to come and do."

Organizers said this year they raised about $10,000 for the foundation.
