Today was a busy day for The Tutu Project! We met with metastatic breast cancer patient advocacy leaders at AstraZeneca’s roundtable meeting to discuss the challenges the community faces and ways to collaboratively address patient needs. After the meeting, we joined AstraZeneca to ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
Marcela Shine, Digital and Operational Advisor for The Tutu Project told the advocates that our primary goal is to connect with them and metastatic breast cancer patients directly. Our grant program is a great example that this is the vision for how we want to work. Why recreate the wheel when so many service providers are doing a great job helping patients? We want to be a connection HUB for the industry and hope AstraZeneca will continue to help support those connections. This meeting was a great first step towards that vision.
