revised_DSC7285Earlier this year The Tutu Project began auctioning – and continue to do so – 20 Limited Edition and signed Pink Plus III Radio triggers that were generously donated by LPA Design, manufacturers of PocketWizard Photo Products. Of these donations 100% has been donated directly to The Carey Foundation  and to date they have helped us raise over $4,000!  This has had enormous impact on our ability to help assist women with incidental costs related to breast cancer.

For those of you who have been following our auctions and who live outside of the US, we have great news and proudly share an excerpt from their recent press release:

“LPA Design, manufacturers of PocketWizard Photo Products, announces the auction of two very special Plus III radios for our international markets.  Molded in “Tutu Pink” plastic with a pink backlight behind the LCD, these Plus III’s use PocketWizard’s international 433 MHz frequency and will be available for anyone outside the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America.  All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Carey Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  The auction will end on December 2nd.

“For the past few months the Tutu Project has been auctioning off a limited set of 344 MHz Pink Plus III’s in the North American market and we’ve been able to raise over $4000 for the Carey Foundation so far.  There have been many inquires for the international version so we made a couple Pink Plus III’s in the 433 MHz frequency and are putting them up for auction along with the remaining 344 MHz Pink Plus III’s.  We continue to be inspired by Bob and Linda’s selflessness and devotion to helping raise funds for women battling breast cancer.” said Dave Schmidt, LPA Design’s VP of Marketing.”

LPA Design has also donated a special edition of Pink G-Whiz bags.   These are designed to carry the Pink Plus III’s but also are the perfect size for a small camera, extra battery and charger and make an excellent Christmas gift for your favorite photographer! These bags are also available on eBay.

Dave Schmidt, LPA Design’s VP of Marketing, and his team have been an enormous support to Bob’s commercial photography, The Tutu Project and The Carey Foundation.  We’re overwhelmed with their dedication to our mission and send them a huge thank you for their ongoing support!
